Lancaster Quilt Show Trip

Want to go on an overnight quilt show trip?  This trip is being planned for Sept. 12–13, 2025.  You will join a group of NSQG members on a bus trip that includes entry to the  show, visiting fabric shops along the way, overnight accommodations and some meals.

Non-members will be welcome to signup about a month before if space is still available, $25 surcharge,.

• What: Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza, Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA (near Lancaster)
• When: 9/12 – 9/13
• Itinerary:
  • Day 1 – 9/12
    • Bus Charter
      • Pick up point #1 – Park & Ride lot, Rte 84, Exit 19 @ Rte 312, 5:45am departing at 6:15 AM SHARP
      • Pick up point #2 – Kisco/Bedford, Rte 684 @ 172 Park & Ride, 6:30am departing at 7:00 AM SHARP
    • Stop at 3 quilt shops in PA
      • Burkholders Fabrics, 2155 PA-897, Denver, PA
      • The Old Country Store (with shopping nearby @ Kitchen Kettle Village), 3510 Old Philadelphia Pike, Intercourse, PA
      • Mook Fabrics 247 West Main Street, Leola, PA
    • Meals – Lunch and Dinner provided.
    • Overnight at Hilton Garden Inn, Lancaster
  • Day 2 – 9/13
    • Breakfast @ Hotel (included)
    • Pennsylvania National Quilt Extravaganza @ Greater Philadelphia Expo Center
    • Lunch @ quilt show (on your own)
    • Head back at ~4:15pm with 45 min rest stop on the way (snacks/food on your own)
    • Arrive back ~8-9pm with drop offs at same pick up points
  • Cost
    • Member Rate Double Occ $370 per person (you must indicate who you will be rooming with)
    • Member Rate Single Occ supplement $100 additional
    • Nonmember surcharge $25 (i.e. non-member double occ is $395 and single occ is $495)
    • What’s included: bus fare, 1 night’s lodging, 3 meals, quilt show admission and snacks/games with prizes on bus
    • Participants are required to pay in full at time of registration.
    • NSQG Member Registration:  Opens now.
    • Non-member Registration:  Opens May 1, 2025
    • Registration will close for all by August 1 or when all slots are filled.
    • Payment:  Remember to send in required registration form!
