• Any given charity may be a recipient only once every seven years or more, it is not eligible for nomination again until at least seven years after it has been a recipient.  Past charities are listed below.
• The NSQG sponsoring member needs to contact the organization to determine it’s level of interest and communicate the ticket sales and time requirements involved.
• The NSQG sponsoring member will be the go-between between the NSQG Charitable Activities Chair and the charity to coordinate any activities and ensure all requirements are followed.
• Recipient must be a non-profit organization that serves people in the local tri-state area.
• The organization should benefit people in need without political or religious affiliation.
• The organization must submit a letter to the NSQG Charitable Activities Chair:  declaring the organization’s 501c3 status, stating it’s purpose and describing it’s services.
• The organization is required to sell at least 50 booklets of tickets prior to the Quilt Show.
• One or more representatives from the organization must be present during the Quilt Show to assist with raffle ticket sales and to explain their purpose to visitors seeking information.
• One or more representatives from the organization must be present at the June guild meeting to receive the proceeds of the raffle.
